Redact
Clean the file before it leaves.
Redact finds names, contacts, and other sensitive spans in a document, then waits for you. Nothing is stripped for good until you approve it.
I, Alan Harrington, of 14 Pemberton Road, Leeds, will say as follows.
The sums were paid from account 40‑12‑88 / 61094427 on 3 October 2024 in part performance of the agreement.
I confirm that the contents of this statement are true and I understand that proceedings for contempt of court may be brought against anyone who makes a false statement in a document verified by a statement of truth.

Capabilities
Detection proposes
Names, contacts, addresses, and reference numbers highlighted for review.
You decide
Accept, reject, or adjust every span — nothing is stripped silently.
Two exports
Hard-redacted for sharing, pseudonymised for internal work.
Audit trail
A report of what was detected and what you decided.
Run detection on a document or pasted text, decide each mark, and export redacted or pseudonymised output with an audit trail.
What it is for
The review step before a document leaves the firm or enters an assisted workflow.
- Finds names, contacts, addresses, reference numbers
- Detection proposes — you decide
- A record of what left the file, not a silent scrub
How you use it
Start from pasted text, an upload, or a document already in a matter.
- Run on standalone text or from a matter document
- Review every proposed span before it sticks
- Export redacted or pseudonymised text
- Download an audit report of the decisions
What is live, and what is next
Live in the workspace today for text, DOCX, and text-layer PDFs.
- Redacted PDF, cleaned text, and the audit report out
- PDF pages are re-rendered with marks burned in, leaving no text layer to recover
- Scanned image PDFs need better OCR
- Every span stays reviewable — always
Questions

Names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, account and reference numbers — the material that should not wander.
Can it run automatically?
By design, no. Every span stays reviewable before export — that is the product rule.
